We were pleased to contribute some interactive visuals to Tom Rowland’s short film, Primitive, featuring award-winning contemporary dancer, Dane Hurst.

The visuals were pre-rendered using rehearsal footage of the dancers, and overlaid with reactive sound elements from the composition that was to be playing during those parts of the film. These were then live projection-mapped on-set by Hamish Watson.

Primitive has gone on to win multiple awards, including the Dance award from the Bafta accredited Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2015.
